Nat Torn Releases New Single 'Hey'

September 13, 2018

Nat Torn has released a new single titled, Hey. Nat is a talented upcoming artist with a glorious voice. Her heavenly voice is accompanies by the vivid and bouncy instrumental.

This beautifully crafted talent showcases the young artist's power voice and is a definitely a single I'll be adding to my playlist.

You can listen to the track here - https://nattorn.hearnow.com/hey

We were fortunate enough to interview Nat:

Tell us a little more about your recent project?
"Hey" is a love letter to my musical idols. I was jamming on the idea in my studio and looking at the music posters taped on the wall and I realized that all these rock stars have been such a big part of my life. The song plays on the irony of how I feel so close to these artists, yet it’s possible I might not ever get a chance to say even “hey” to them in person.

So you did this all on your own?
Yeah, from the writing to the recording and all the production. I wanted to see what I could achieve by myself as a composer, performer, and producer.

What would you like to achieve as an artist?
My dream is to work with amazing entertainers— whether it’s other musicians, filmmakers, comedians… I’ve started a collective/record label called Animal Tribe, and I want to see it grow and expand into something influential. As far as my own personal artistic journey, I just hope to continue to learn how to best use my skills to facilitate connection.

Who are some of these artists?
Aretha. Beyoncé. Tash, Erykah, Frank, Sam, Gaga, Adele, Amy, Nina, George, the list continues tenfold.

What should we be looking foward to from you in the future?
More music, more films, more productions.

Is there anything else you would like to tell our readers?
Peace is possible. Also, keep your eye out for the official music video for “Hey” coming soon!
