The band Shadowfields is set to release their new single Never Again from thair upcoming album Festival For One (June 28, 2019).
Chicago-based (Americana /swamp-grass, neo gypsy, folk-rock) band Shadowfields began in the summer of 2006 as a songwriting partnership of vocalist Heather Humphrey and multi-instrumentalist Tom McKeown. For five years, they wrote for any and every occasion, including for publishers in Chicago, New York, Los Angeles and Nashville before turning their attention to writing for their own voice. Over the course of five studio albums, they have honed the art of combining organic instrumentation with catchy melodies and adventurous arrangements, which highlight the dual, his/her passionate vocals.
Shadowfields have created a buzz for themselves by touring throughout the country as well as making inroads into Canada. They have been featured in rotation on 120 independent radio stations across the U.S., Canada, and Europe.
We had an exclusive listen to their upcoming song Never Again, and we were surely impressed. The combination of the male and female vocals work in accordance with the beautifully sounding instrumental. A song with a passive triumphant feeling, this song creates an engaging listening experience that you lose yourself to.
