Interview With Speaker Child

When did you realise that you had a passion for music? When I got introduced to percussion and started with drumsticks on a five gallon bucket. Later on I upgraded to a drum set from the thrift store and learned to play polyrhythmic.

Who are your main inspirations as an artist? Andre Nickatina, 2pac And Too Short. Dre paved my music career, Pac has me inspired by his passion and Too Short gave me insight from a young age. What would you like to achieve as an artist? Continue to learn the art of rap and become a headlining national act. What is your most memorable moment while being an artist? Working with Bay Area legends. Most memorable would be meeting Rappin’ 4Tay which led into some interesting situations... I’ll leave that out for now. Who is the biggest artist you’ve worked with? Andre Nickatina. I’m on his latest album Pieces and we have two music videos out `Hotwing Session’ and `Phat Ass’ Tell us a little more about your recent project? Just signed with 75 Girls Records with Distribution under Empire and a collaboration from Seattle to the Bay. Beats by Roc Phizzle, Maclane and Qreeps.
