Interview With Dmoneyesko

October 6, 2019

Why did you get into music?

I got into music because I’ve had a passion for it since i was 6 and i used to see my stepdaddy rap all the time so it kinda inspired me , once I turned 14 thats when i started taking it more serious & I feel like what I got to say, people should hear it because I try to speak the truth , ain't that what people want?

What is your creative process?

When i first started i was a writer but I always free-styled on the side , so eventually I let the writing go and now I try to go off the head to make my rhymes and flow as real as possible.

How is the music scene in your city? honestly the music scene I feel is low-key and that’s because lack of promoters but as far as the talent in the city there are a lot and if you ask me I feel like we’re starting to make noise as long as everybody could work together

When did you realise that you had a passion for music?

I realized that i had a passion for music when it became something i could heal with , once it became something more than just words and sounds , that's when it became a passion.

Who are your main inspirations as an artist?

My main inspirations as an artist are lil wayne , g herbo , & kodak . mainly because who they are but also because their music speaks to the soul.

What would you like to achieve as an artist?

As an artist i would like to achieve in the helping of bringing people confidence and who they are as a person so that they can embrace that and become who they choose regardless of past.

What is your most memorable moment while being an artist?

My most memorable moment was when i did my first video, shit took hours but it was fun and very humbling, did it with my sister and a few other friends and we went to Chicago and made shit happen.

Who is the biggest artist you’ve worked with?

I don’t really work with artist because i prefer to come up either with my crew or by myself not off anyone else.

Tell us a little more about your recent project?

My project cognizant behavior was me letting everyone see how far i’ve gotten as an artist , it wasn’t planned or nothing just put together and i'm very confident in it and love every part about it , mainly because it was real , you gotta listen to me to understand.

What should we be looking forward to from you in the future?

As far as music each day i'm improving and elevating so i ain't going to say too much but listen im coming just know.

Is there anything else you would like to tell our readers?

One thing i would like to tell the readers is , no matter what your past is and what you’ve been through, only you can stop you from accomplishing what you want & to the haters we see you and we ignore you , stay humble and love what you do.
