Interview With David Kovalchuk

When did you realise that you had a passion for music?

Music became my passion ever since I was a child. At the age of 5 my sister had given me a little Casio keyboard to keep me entertained but it became more than just entertainment for me, it became a part of me.

What would you like to achieve as an artist?

What I would like to a achieve as an artist is to never stop setting goals that not only would help increase my abilities as a musician/songwriter but also be an inspiration to others as I looked up to the musicians that inspired me.

What is your most memorable moment while being an artist?

My most memorable moment would be 13 years ago when my music was aired on the radio for the first time in Fresno California and what is so memorable about this to me was watching my mother's eyes tear up when she heard "Mother" which was a song I wrote for her, She hugged me so hard and said, "Thank you and I love you so much!"

Who is the biggest artist you’ve worked with?

There are so many amazing artists over the years I'm grateful and honored to have the opportunity to work with as for the biggest artist definitely the band called "A Skylit Drive". Opening up for them was an incredible experience.

Tell us a little more about your recent project?

Lifted Dreams was a great challenge to create but also rewarding that took over a year to compose. It's an alternative/Instrumental piece that I wanted to bring an uplifting Melody to it.

What should we be looking forward to from you in the future

As for the future goes, I have a few other projects I'm working on with a few great and talented musicians.

Is there anything else you would like to tell our readers? Thank you, everyone, who Inspired, encouraged and supported me in my music journey over the years. Never give up on the goals you want to achieve. I am looking forward to continuing creating music for years to come.
